HOW THEY MET: They have known each other since childhood and fell in love seven years ago.
PROPOSAL: Over a romantic meal.
VENUE: Holy Trinity and St Constantine Church, Wetheral, on May 19, 2007.
THEME: Red and ivory.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A claret, strapless dress with embroidery detail and crystals, and a silver crystal tiara – from Forever Yours, Newcastle.
GROOMSMEN: The bride’s brother Gavin Crozier was best man. Shaun Elliot and Adrian Famelton were ushers. The bride and groom’s son Ryan Matthew Crozier, two, was a page boy. They wore morning suits with claret cravats hired from Greenwoods.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s sister Karen Crozier, 22, was best woman. The groom’s sisters Leanne Farish, 23, and Emily Farish, 15, and friend Nichola Storey, 28, were bridesmaids. They wore oyster organza debut dresses from Debenhams. The bride’s niece Kaylee Crozier, three, was a flowergirl and wore a pink dress from Little Angels, of Workington.
FLOWERS: A hand-tied bouquet of white roses with red and green grasses and beads, while the bridesmaids had smaller bouquets – all from Flowers by Flower Thyme, Stanwix, Carlisle.
TRANSPORT: Dark green Mercedes.
RECEPTION: The Coach House, Wetheral, for 50 guests with a further 100 in the evening.
TABLE SETTINGS: Gold fish bowls with large red gerberas and floating, heart-shaped candles; and pink, red and ivory balloons.
FAVOURS: Handmade truffles in gold boxes for the ladies and scratch cards for the men.
CAKE: A three-tier cake with fruit and sponge layers decorated with hearts, stars, crystals and pink ribbon – made by Eden House of Cakes in Penrith.
FIRST DANCE: Song Bird by Eva Cassidy.
HONEYMOON: Florida and Sarasota.
PHOTOGRAPHER AND VIDEOGRAPHER: A family friend.
