BEATEN seven times in two 12-minute matches, Jimmy Glass was packing away his goalkeeping gloves after last Sunday’s Northern Masters when I asked him to describe how it felt to play for Carlisle United again.
“I enjoyed it,” said Glass. “But I’d have preferred it if I’d been playing up front. And I would have been better.”
