THERE wasn’t a ball bowled in the North Lancashire & Cumbria League last Saturday as the weather proved to be the only winner.
And it was a similar story on Sunday when all four Higson Cup quarter-final ties were also rained off.
From the league matches every team collected nine points while the Higson Cup ties have been re-scheduled for this Sunday - weather permitting.
Fixtures - Premier: Cockermouth v Penrith, Duddon v Dalton, Furness v Carlisle, Keswick v Haverigg, Whitehaven v Cleator, Workington v Millom.
Division one: Cleator Seconds v Appleby Eden, Egremont v Hawcoat Park, Kirkby v Keswick Seconds, Lanercost v Wigton, Lindal Moor v Vickerstown, Ulverston v Workington Seconds.
Higson Cup quarter-finals (Sunday): Cleator v Keswick, Whitehaven v Workington, Dalton v Millom, Carlisle v Haverigg.
