Donna Price, 39, is an IT delivery manager, and Julian Holliday, 39, originally from Workington, is an executive warrant officer with HM Royal Navy, Submarines. They live in Maryport.
Donna’s dream came true when the couple got married in New York, her favourite place. The couple had their pictures taken in Times Square and were kindly helped by a police officer who even stopped the traffic for them. They travelled around New York to have pictures taken at the Empire State Building, Flat Iron Building and Brooklyn Bridge. The couple said they had a brilliant day and laughed so much that their faces hurt. They said they had experienced the “spirit of New York”.

They have a family party planned at home for their return.
