Ged Stokes and his squad have pulled out all the stops to keep Haven in good form on the field.

And they have earned the club a play-off eliminator clash at Leigh at the start of September.

“It is fantastic for the town and tremendous for the coach and players to reach the play-offs,” said Grace.

“They have turned it around and really played for the coach and he obviously has it right.”

Haven have had a tough season off the pitch, losing then coach Paul Crarey early in the season due to health problems, then suffering financial difficulties but Grace has high hopes for the future.

“We are in the mix and from now on anything could happen,” he added.

“We have beaten all the teams above us so we have nothing to fear and now we have a chance of getting to the final.”

Haven must now wait to see the outcome of the RFL disciplinary hearing tonight with Scott Teare, Graeme Mattinson and Andy Gorski all appearing, in the aftermath of the last outing to Leigh.

Gorski is charged with a high tackle, Mattinson for kicking and Teare for punching at Hilton Park.

Leigh prop Andy Hobson is also up before the panel, for a late tackle on Gregg McNally in the same game.
