Clean up
Last updated 19:49, Thursday, 04 September 2008
ANGLERS are being reminded of the need to leave fishing areas tidy after a letter from Whitehaven harbour commissioners to the Whitehorse Angling Club.
The commissioners are concerned about rubbish and discarded fishing line left on the piers at Whitehaven.
The North West Sea Angling league and its member clubs have a policy of disqualifying anglers that leave rubbish at a match venue and from time to time hold organised clean-ups at venues.
