Show trails should be run
Last updated 19:53, Thursday, 04 September 2008
THE very wet weather is playing havoc with trailing at present.
Bridekirk on Thursday had to be cancelled. Loweswater and Lowick shows are also cancelled but it is hoped the trails will be able to go ahead at these venues.
The Michael Renney Memorial Trails are to be held at Greenlands on September 13. Hopefully, the weather will be better then and the Cockermouth and Workington area will have a successful day. There will be prize money and all proceeds will go to charity.
Westgate Kaiser still tops the championship by one win even though he was beaten by Mayfair at Redmain on a very soggy, wet Tuesday evening.
