Woman suffers broken nose after being hit with bottle in Carlisle pub

A woman suffered a broken nose after she was struck in the face with a bottle in a Carlisle pub.
The woman was treated at the Cumberland Infirmary following the incident at the William Rufus in Botchergate in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A 19-year-old woman from Bishop Auckland was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm but later released on police bail pending further inquiries.
