A PHOTOGRAPHY business in Cockermouth is offering local people the chance to do fashion shoots for a day.
Abby Nelson Photography, on Station Street, is joining with Ikon hairdressers on Main Street and Elements Health and Beauty on Station Street to offer a programme called Diva Days.
Abby Nelson, 28, who runs the photography business, said: “People can go and get their hair and make-up done and then come and have the fashion shoot. The shoots are on location, which gives it more of an upmarket feel.
“This kind of thing is popular in America and we feel there is a market for it in West CumbriaIt also means we are doing something different at the business.
“If it proves to be a success we will make it an ongoing thing.
“It is primarily aimed at young people especially teenagers, and can be used to support a modelling career or just as a special treat.
“We have just started this up and it will involve a lot of extra work but we have already had a few enquiries about it.”
Three different packages are on offer (Fab Modern, Funky Contemporary and Fresh Stylist) which include different sizes and types of albums.
Prices start from £145which includes a location photo-shoot, hair, make-up and an album containing a selection of photos from the day.
