Champs off to fine start

LAST year’s champions Harrington RBL A have won all their three opening fixtures in the Harrington Darts League and seem to be an even stronger outfit than last season with a couple of new players signed for them. They came away from HWMSC with a 6-3 win.
Lowca ARLC A have recovered from their opening day defeat to the Legion with two good wins. The last one was a stunning 7-2 victory at the Moorclose A.
Golden Lion A and DARLC both won away at Moss Bay and the Black Chicken, both 5-4.
In the B league the Nomads – who are now playing at the Legion instead of the Oval Centre – are top with six points from three matches.
But the Ant Hill Mob and Lowca ARLC B have only played one match each, due to Distington Legion dropping out of the league, and these teams are both unbeaten.
Last Saturday in the Banks competition K Parker and A Storey beat S Hodgson and N Linford in the final.
180s: G Burr HRBL A.
