Name sets teeth on edge

A READER has contacted Reiver about a dentist at the new NHS practice on Victoria Place, Carlisle.
The dentist is one of several from mainland Europe who have given the NHS ranks a much needed boost.
My contact was full of praise for his dentist’s friendly demeanour and fine workmanship. There was, however, one small detail which the patient found a little disconcerting.
He is a little nervous about going to the dentist at the best of times, and this feeling did not ease when he realised that the chap standing over him with the drill was called... Dr Hell.
Where’s Dr Lovely Soft Kittens when you need him?
