PARTS of Allerdale slipped into a time warp at the weekend when over 100 vintage cars competed in the annual Lakeland Trial.
Bugattis, Austin 7s, Fords, Frazer Nashes and many other cars from early last century slipped and slither their way along forest tracks or up moutain sides in the Vintage Sports Car Club event.
One the highlights is the steep quarry tack up Drumhouse, Honister, where Times & Star photographer Stan Parleton took these pixtures.
There were other special stages in the forests at Whinlatter.
