ART students at the University of Cumbria have won a prestigious prize for the quality of their work.
The textile work of the students was on display at a national textiles exhibition in Harrogate last month and won first prize as best degree show work.
Angie Wyman, course leader for contemporary applied arts, said: “Gaining the stamp of approval from the textiles industry and positive feedback from visitors is a great testament to the quality of the work that our graduates produce.”
Contemporary applied arts graduates Andrea Nixon, Victoria Relph and Helen McKenna received a great deal of positive feedback from the public.
