WEST Cumbrian teachers could benefit from a new partnership between the University of Cumbria and the National Union of Teachers.
The partnership, launched on Wednesday, will see the creation of high-quality development programmes for teachers at the university.
Dr Neil Simco, of the University of Cumbria, said: “We are delighted to be entering into this partnership with the NUT and are committed to this work.
“It will provide fresh opportunities for teachers to take high-quality, professional development that we hope will be of benefit to them as individuals, to schools and to the wider profession.”
