Whitehaven coach Ged Stokes has not finished with his pre-season team building.
The Kiwi is still on the hunt for two more outside backs to complement his line-up for the new National League One season.
“I still feel that we are a couple of positions short at the moment but I am discussing that with the board and we will look into it,” said Stokes.
“I feel we need a couple of outside backs so that’s what I will be looking at.”
First choice centres last season were Rob Jackson and Scott McAvoy with Derry Eilbeck also coming into contention.
And Ade Adebisi and Craig Calvert made the wing spots their own, with plenty of tries between them.
Haven have announced two more pre-season friendlies to their campaign.
The annual Ike Southward Memorial match with Workington Town has been confirmed as Sunday, December 28 at the Recreation Ground.
Whitehaven are the current holders of the trophy and they are keen to retain it in front of their home crowd.
Then, on January 24 another NL2 outfit Swinton Lions will be the next visitors to the Recre.
