Sports scheme is unpopular

As Allerdale councillor I believe we are being bullied into this silly, unpopular and controversial scheme (proposed new stadium).
An artist's impression of the proposed stadium
The people in suits are holding a gun to Allerdale Council and saying if you don’t back us we will not give you funding.
This is an abuse of power that must not happen and let’s hope the people of Workington vote overwhelmingly NO in the referendum on this scheme, and let’s hope that Allerdale Council will see sense and take notice and let’s bring democracy back to our town and let the people who matter most have their say – that’s the people of Workington.
