TONIGHT will see the cream of the county’s sporting talent celebrated at the Cumbria Sports Awards 2008.
About 300 people are expected to attend the ceremony tonight at the Low Wood Hotel in Windermere.
Last year, West Cumbrian sporting talent swept the board. Six of the 10 main awards came west as did three of the five Rising Star awards for young people.
