CHILDREN at Cockermouth School have raised £237 during anti-bullying week.
Beat bullying: Year nine pupils from Cockermouth School and head of year Matthew Woodcock show off the anti-bullying wrist bands
Year nine pupils raised the money last week by selling wrist bands to students to promote the week.
Head of year nine Matthew Woodcock said: “The amount they have raised is fantastic.
“All the children involved enjoyed raising the money and some even gave up their lunch hour to sell the bands.
“I think it has managed to raise the profile of the problem bullying causes immensely.”
