Annan destroy Saints to progress in Cree Lodge Cup

Annan 6 Saint Cuthbert W 0: Annan Athletic progressed to the next round of the Cree Lodge Cup with a convincing six-goal victory.
Phil Storey grabbed an impressive four goals to set Annan on the victory trail.
It took Annan 22 minutes to open the scoring when Storey latched on to a Steve Archibald through ball before slipping the ball past the advancing Hutchison. Annan increased their lead in the 31st minute when once again Storey and Archibald combined to unlock the Saints defence with Storey finishing clinically from 10 yards. Annan continued to dictate the match in the second half and Storey grabbed two more goals in five minutes.
Ryan Adamson got his name on the scoresheet in the 60th minute when he chipped the ball over the advancing Hutchison. Saints misery was completed in the 65th minute when ex-player Hugh Cameron finished a mazy run with an excellent shot.
