HOW THEY MET: On a night out in 1998.
PROPOSAL: Andrew proposed while on holiday in Greece in 2000.
VENUE: Our Lady and St Michael’s Church, Workington on June 21.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A Rina Di Montella white silk and taffeta dress with antique lace and Swarovski crystals, cathedral-length veil and tiara with crystals from Olivia James Bridal, Egremont.
GROOMSMEN: Chris Lamb and Scott Carruthers, both 28, were best men. The groom’s brothers Alan Cardwell, 39, Mark Cardwell, 35, the bride’s brother Lance Scurr, 22, and the groom’s friend Paul Nixon, 28, were ushers. The groom’s nephew Dean Cardwell, eight, was a page boy. They wore black Prince Edward suits from Tom Little, of Maryport.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s sister Simone Scurr, 24, was chief bridesmaid. The groom’s nieces Terri Walker, 16, Amy Cardwell, 15, and Lauren Cardwell, 12, and the bride’s cousins Ellie Woodall, 12, and Laureece Woodall, nine, were bridesmaids. They wore raspberry-coloured dresses from Olivia James Bridal. The bride’s cousin, Riann Woodall, five, was a flowergirl and wore a white dress from BHS.
FLOWERS: A bouquet of Dolce Vita white roses, orchids and crystal diamantes.
TRANSPORT: A Beauford and two Mercedes from A Touch Of Class, Workington.
RECEPTION: Canapes and a four-course meal at Hundith Hall Hotel, Cockermouth for 130 guests with a further 30 in the evening.
CAKE: A white, three-tier fruit cake with pink flowers made by Elspeth Moore.
FIRST DANCE: You’re Still The One by Shania Twain.
ENTERTAINMENT: Crown Celebrations disco.
HONEYMOON: Cancun, Mexico.
