County pool squad picked

THE Cumbria Men's Pool Team trials which were held at Pockets Pool & Snooker Club in Workington saw six players qualify for the squad.
Andrew Henderson of Lamplugh, Craig Stuart of Maryport, Chris Stamper from Millom, Daniel Hancox from Workington, Rob Pictor and Lee Mathews both from Beckermet, were all successful.
The Cumbria team’s first match of the new season will be on March 9 at Pockets when they take on Yorkshire, a team which consists of many professional players including the twice world champion Chris Melling.
