Playing the numbers game
Last updated 09:30, Saturday, 26 April 2008
THERE are some who have argued long and hard this week that 4-4-2, as opposed to 4-5-1, is the solution of all Carlisle's ills, such as they are.
Maybe they're right. Perhaps we'll find out in south London this afternoon. For the record, though, could they also remind us which formation United used for the vast majority of the four-month run this season when they failed to win a game away from home?
Conclusion: if it was as simple as just rearranging the bodies, we'd all be managers.
