Morven Pringle set the bar high right from the start of action at the latest BSJA Area 14 Junior Show, winning both the Welcome Stakes and the Junior British Novice with Caledonian Golden Sapphire, and also taking second place in the opening class with Master Nick.

MANY of Cumbria's top riders were in action and on top form at the Penrith Show, including the Midas-touched Simon Buckley who came third and fourth in the Discovery with Cassanet and Wizardlea, then won the Newcomers with Cassanet and topped the day off with second place in the Foxhunter/1.20 Open with Silvano.
