I was born in carlisle in 1957 and moved to Australia when I was 18 months old. My family came backe to Carlisle in 1968 and stayed for 18 months before returning to Australia. We lived on the Dalston road and I went to Robert Fergusons Secondary school where i was refered to as "Aussie". My wife and I are coming over next August and would like to meet up with John Morson , but I havn't been able to contact him.

I am presently running conservation breeding programme near the Iraqi border in Kuwait. I work for The prime Minister of Kuwait. I have been been breeding houbara up in Uzbekistan, near the Afghanistan border, and also in Algeria, all very dangerous places. I used to run chicken farms at Kirkbride and Canonbie, Alstonby then went to Sierra Leone and Nigeria. My two sons born in Carlisle were both in 2PARA and served in Iraq and Afghansiatan too, both William Howard schoolboys. My website is www.vasshoubara.com and i hope when i return in early September there could be an interest story there. Carlisle United fan too go to website via google is best.
