Sm trinity The opportunities available to you at 16 are many and varied – Carlisle College has a wide range of courses to help you open doors to a bright future. Our courses allow you to gain the skills and qualifications to progress to employment or further study. At Appleby Grammar School we aim to maintain a broad post-16 curriculum both academic and vocational and this is enhanced by our strong relationship with Appleby Heritage Centre. Kirkby Stephen Grammar School Sports College has recently been acknowledged as a High Performing Specialist School, following its ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted Dec ‘07. Our sixth form was also classed as ‘Outstanding’. Life in Caldew Sixth Form will be different from what you have experienced so far. You will find the next two years of study demanding but highly rewarding. Lime House School offers both boarding and day school education to 240 pupils. Located in a delightful rural setting to the south of Carlisle the school has a sixth-form with 40-50 pupils. Making the right choice after leaving school can be difficult.
