HAVEN’S matchday magazine for Sunday’s game against Widnes will be a special souvenir edition marking the club’s 60th anniversary.
The one-off programme, priced at £3, will include interviews with past Recre favourite Ray Dutton and current starlet Gregg McNally and looks at the major influence Kiwi players have had on the club. The club programme from Haven’s opening game against Hull in 1948 will also be reproduced inside.
Kiwi trio David Fatialofa, Leroy Joe and Aaron Lester bring down the curtain on their testimonial year at the Recre on Friday night.
The social event in the John McKeown bar starts at 7pm. Entertainment will be provided by The Maverick and all are welcome. Entry will be £5 on the door and includes a buffet.
Proceeds from the evening will be donated to The Special Care Baby Unit at the West Cumberland Hospital.
Raffle tickets will be on a sale for a one-off Kiwi commemorative shirt. Tickets are also available at Unique Sports, which is currently holding an end-of-season sale of Haven merchandise.
