Rudd thanks trainer Chambers for getting him back on track

PLAYMAKER Carl Rudd has paid tribute to Ian Chambers of Powerhouse Gym at Hensingham for helping him rehab after his long-term knee injury.
The Haven stand-off has undergone several surgeries since suffering the knee injury against Wigan in May 2008. And Chambers has proved a big help in helping him regain full fitness.
“He’s also had knee trouble in the past and has the experience of how to get back,” Rudd said. “I’d like to thank him for that. He’s been a great help.”
Chambers took Rudd through the exercises necessary to regain strength in the knee, and also offered nutritional advice.
Rudd is now gearing up for the start of pre-season training at the end of the month.
