WITH the summer music festivals in full swing Whitehaven’s Club Boof night too has a festival theme.
The Club Boof night will be keeping everyone in the mood at Gallachers GL3 on August 8.
Headlining the night will be the Chevrolites, a four-piece band from Newcastle, who have performed on the Carling Academy stage.
The Indie rock band have released two blinding EPs Never Leave This Town and Broken Bones and Lost Homes about small town life experiences with hard hitting choruses.
In support will be the four-piece Liverpool-based band The Little Fields. They write vibrant, catchy tunes with booming basslines and smart lyrics.
The band have also been nominated for Unsigned Act of The Year on Channel Four's Freshly Squeezed.
Completing the bill is Workington band Colt 45. They recently played at Cock Rock and this will be their third gig for the Boof Night.
The band is made up of ex-Colourblind lead singer Neil Harper, John Hutton on bass and Stuart Pyne on drums
The doors open at 9pm, £5 entry, with prizes for the best festival wear - shorts, hats, sunglasses and wellies!
