You’re sure to die laughing at this murder mystery

A MURDER mystery with plenty of fun is on its way thanks to Whitehaven Theatre Group.
Their production of Murdered to Death is a spoof of the best of Agatha Christie traditions. It is set in a country manor house in the 1930s, with an assembled cast of characters guaranteed to delight.
The play introduces the inept and bungling Inspector Pratt, who battles against the odds to solve the murder of the house’s owner.
It soon becomes clear that the murderer isn’t finished yet, but will the miscreant be unmasked before everyone else has met their doom, or will the audience die laughing first?
Cast: Mildred, Debbie Atkinson; Dorothy (her companion and housekeeper), Kayleigh Cullen; Bunting (the butler) – Phil McSorley; Colonel Charles Craddock, Tony Parker; Margaret Craddock (his wife), Audrey Chapman; Pierre Marceau (a French art dealer), Richard Adair; Elizabeth Hartley-Trumpington (a very high society young lady) – Steph Metcalfe; Inspector Pratt, Shaun Donald; Constable Thomkins – Aron Armstrong; Miss Joan Maple, Vanessa Cowley.
Directing the show is Cuth Murphy. And it runs from Monday, September 1 to Saturday, September 6, nightly at 7.30pm in the Rosehill Theatre.
Tickets are £7 (Monday night only £5) from Rosehill (01946 692422) or Yvonne’s Hairdressers (01946 692468).
