STEEL Magnolias the next challenging production to be taken on by Rosehill Players.
The play, written by Robert Harling, runs from November 19-22, but the first pre-audtion meet, character study and read through takes place on Monday, September 8 (7.30pm) in Rosehill Barn.
Anyone interested is invited and auditions follow on Wednesday, September 10. It is being directed by Judith Henderson.
Steel Magnolias is a compelling play where the action takes place in a beauty salon in 1980s Louisiana.
The story of each of the characters – a bride-to-be, an over-anxious mother, two eccentric senior citizens and a mysterious new employee – unfold through a fast-moving and witty script.
