A WEST End extravaganza is coming to West Cumbria.
The Westenders are performing at the Carnegie Theatre, Workington on Thursday, October 30, at 7.30pm.
The idea for The WestEnders was conceived in a dressing room at the top of London’s famous Palace Theatre, while Linda Jarvis, Jill Nalder and Jon Osbaldeston were appearing in Les Miserables.
They wanted to create a show that would combine the best of the West End musicals into one extravaganza.
So, after sharing their idea with top West End musical director Jae Alexander and soprano Frances Fry, together they founded WestEnders.
The current show – More of the Best Musicals Ever – features six seasoned West End performers who between them have appeared in over 20 of the most popular and prestigious musicals.
They include Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Aspects Of Love, Jesus Christ Superstar, Oliver, Crazy For You and Beauty And The Beast
They have now been working for several years performing all over the world. Moments have included a book launch for Gordon Ramsay, singing for the American Ambassador at his London residence and seeing in the new century for 2000 guests at the Millennium Party in Birmingham International Arena.
Tickets are £14.50, telephone the box office on 01900 602122.
