Chance to take to stage

PERFORMERS are needed for next year’s La’al Fest at Keswick’s Theatre by the Lake.
The festival, from Thursday, April 17 to Saturday, April 19, aims to bring together young people and community groups from throughout Cumbria.
It is a celebration through performance and will include experimental performances in the Studio and family entertainment in the Main House of the theatre.
Now in its third year, La'al Fest 2008 is looking to be the biggest and best yet.
The Main House companies have now been selected and the team is searching for people to appear on stage in the Studio. If you are already part of a performing arts group, or a group of friends who would like to produce a 45-minute performance, then New Directions would like to hear from you.
But be quick because the deadline is tomorrow, telephone Helen Day on 01900 870111.
