Playing at Copeland Stadium, 18-year-old Ramsden played at prop in the Lions’ 19-10 defeat against France Juniors.
It was Ramsden’s fifth game for the Lions, having played against Australia twice and France twice last year.
“I thought we did okay, but they were fitter and slightly better drilled than us,” said Michael, a sixth form student at Whitehaven School.
