Midweek cricket kick-off

THE West Allerdale & Copeland Cricket League kicks off next midweek.

In Division One, last year’s champions Sandwith Roofing start with a home game against Trout Cup holders Egremont on Thursday, May 1. The rest of the opening Division One fixtures – Cockermouth Colts v Braithwaite Colts, Isel v BCMS, and Royal George v Windscale Club, Seascale – take place on Wednesday, April 30.

Division Two kicks off with Baggrow 2 v Distington (April 28), Cockermouth Academicals v Broughton (April 29), and WCLS v Seascale Juniors (May 1).
