Films for all as new season begins

ROSEHILL Theatre has a host of film entertainment coming up over the coming months.
It starts with Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street on Tuesday, May 13 and Wednesday, May 14.
Based on the hit Broadway musical, this Tim Burton film tells the infamous story of Sweeney Todd, who sets up a barber shop down in London which is the basis for a sinister partnership with his fellow tenant, Mrs Lovett.
It stars Johnny Depp and Helen Bonham Carter.
Following that there will be No Country for Old Men on Tuesday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 21.
When Llewellyn Moss finds an abandoned truck surrounded by dead men with $2m in the trunk, he steals the money and soon finds that he is being pursued by a psychotic hitman in this award-winning thriller from the Coen brothers.
A French drama with English subtitles is being shown on Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28.
Diving Bell And the Butterfly tells the story of Elle magazine’s paralysed editor, Jean-Dominique Bauby, after suffering a stroke and who is only able to relay his tales of trauma and wonder by using his left eye.
It stars Mathieu Amalric, Emmanuelle Seigner and Marie-Jose Croze.
On Tuesday, June 3 and Wednesday, June 4 There Will Be Blood is the next offering.
Set on the frontier of California’s turn-of-the-century petroleum boom, Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day Lewis) and his son come to a small town in search of oil. He strikes liquid gold but the corruption, violence and deceit that follow will change the lives of many.
Other films will include Happy-Go-Lucky, Juno, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
All films are screened on Tuesdays at 7.30pm and on Wednesdays at 1.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets are £4.50, £4 concessions, matinees £3.50, telephone the box office.
