AN ambitious show from the Rosehill Players takes to the stage this month.
One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest runs at Rosehill Theatre from May 7-10, nightly at 7.30pm.
Directed by David Simpson, the show follows the dark tale of Randle, who has been charged with a serious offence.
He pleads insanity and is taken to a mental institution where he has a lasting effect on the inmates.
Taking the ‘Jack Nicholson’ role is well-known local actor and solicitor, Roger Wilson. Marian Finn plays opposite him as Nurse Ratched.
It was a tall order finding someone for the role of the chief but they found newcomer Dave Corrigan – and luckily he is well over six feet tall!
Tickets are £7, £6, telephone the theatre on 01946 692422.
