Calder out of league

FOLLOWING their failure to fulfil a fixture last Sunday, Calder have withdrawn from the league.
The County Cup semi-finalists have had problems throughout the season and have finally called it a day, leaving the league committee to meet and decide on any fines or player suspensions that may need to be imposed.
On the field, Top House and Kells moved into the Division Two Cup final, while Thornhill and Cleator Moor will contest the John Dixon Memorial Trophy final.
In Division Two, Kells closed the gap at the top and can still snatch the title following a 9-3 win over Lowca.
President’s Cup semi-final – St Bees Village v Thornhill. Division One – Kit Horns v Bransty. Division Two – Wath Brow Hornets v St Bees, Moor Row v LowcaKHM Trophy semi-final – Top House v Bransty. Division Two – Kells v Gosforth RA, Wath Brow Hornets v Lowca (at Lowca)
