A DANCE extravaganza is taking place at Whitehaven Civic Hall this weekend.
More than 250 pupils from Joanne Dougan’s Step by Step School of Dance will be taking to the stage for the event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The show is a sell-out and the age range of dancers ranges from just two-years-old to the over 50s.
There will be ballet, tap, modern and traditional dances and these will range from Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat to the Nutcracker and Take That.
Joanne has classes in St Bees, Cleator Moor, Egremont and Seascale.
Her pupils have scooped a variety of trophies at the major Blackpool festival over the years and were the only dance school in England to be invited back this April for the gala performance.
The event runs nightly at 7pm.
