FOR those concerned about any aspect of dyslexia a “Helpful Hints,” meeting is taking place in Whitehaven next Tuesday, May 20.
It is being organised by The West Cumbria Dyslexia Association at The Samaritans’ meeting room, in Church Street and anyone is welcome to attend the free session.
Children, their parents, carers or interested adults are all to be catered for and WCDA committee member, Beth Dell, said: “You can have a useful and informative chat to someone who understands your problems and can help point you in the right direction.”
Doris Pearce, chair of the local association, who is herself dyslexic, will be demonstrating computer software and advising on other useful gadgets and strategies she finds helpful.
