Jumping in at the deep end!

IN addition to their Better Swimmers Sooner learn to swim programme, Copeland Swimming Pool – managed by North Country Leisure Copeland, a registered charity – are helping even more children to find their water wings with their Swim School holiday swimming courses.

The sessions offer daily swimming lessons lead by qualified swimming instructors for children of all abilities aged 3½ years and above.

Alan Burns, manager of Copeland Swimming Pool said: “Continuing lessons during the school holidays is a great way of building on your child’s abilities and water confidence, or giving your younger children a head start on swimming before they start school.

“Children who take part in our Better Swimmers programme throughout the year have shown a vast improvement compared to those children who just attend school swimming sessions during term time, so we wanted to offer more children the opportunity to continue swimming all year round with our holiday Swim School.”

The courses start in the May half term holidays and throughout the summer holidays and are bookable at reception 01946 696049.

Full payment for the courses is required when booking.
