CAPTIVE MP: Copeland MP Jamie Reed presents £4,180 to Anna Batty from the Millom Children’s Centre who was representing the NCH Children’s Charity. The MP took part in a sponsored event where he was marooned on an island on Windermere and couldn’t get off unless he generated at least £1,000 for charity. He managed just a little more than the required amount, much to the joy of Anna who presented the MP with a present from the centre.
