Llama sale

LLAMAS, alpacas and miniature donkeys replaced the usual cows, sheep and pigs in the ring at Carlisle’s Borderway Auction Mart last week.
The weird and wonderful creatures were at the Rosehill site for an Exotic Breeds Sale by auctioneers Harrison and Hetherington.
There were miniature Mediterranean donkeys from the Red Oak Herd, in Ireland, llamas from Aberdeen and alpacas from Renwick, near Penrith.
