Cake is recipe to good deed

A ST Benedict’s School pupil has raised £750 for the Great North Air Ambulance. In just one month, Holly Cahill raised the money by holding a cake sale in school and organising a raffle. The sixth former launched the campaign in memory of those affected by the recent West Cumbrian tragedies. Linda Frogley, from the air ambulance service, received the cheque and thanked Holly for her hard work. She said: “This money will make a big difference. Every single penny will go towards the doctors, paramedics and everyone involved in a call out.”
