Capturing beauty of Cumbria

THE Whitehaven Snappers group now has 42 members and more than 500 photographs have been submitted.
The online group, run by The Whitehaven News, is aimed at encouraging photographers in the area.
Deputy editor, Alan Cleaver, said: “The range of styles is fantastic and this online community is really beginning to gel. Members are helping each other with advice and technical support.”
The group had its first trip out into the real world this week when they attended a dress rehearsal of Bouncers at Rosehill Theatre to practise their skills.
And a monthly competition has been launched – the theme for February is ‘Reflections’.
