Hospice celebrates

OVER 100 well-wishers turned out to help Hospice at Home West Cumbria celebrate its 21st birthday yesterday.

It was standing room only so great was the support as Lord Judd, a Labour life peer who lives in Lorton, launched the 21st events. Lord Judd praised volunteers and staff.  He said the charity had  provided over 11,000 hours of Hospice nursing last year, a “terrific record.”
