A SPORTING event with a difference will take place in Cumbria this weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday (January 2 and 3), The Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain is holding a rally at Penrith - and for the first time it will be in snow!
The event takes place at Greystoke Forest and a warm welcome is extended to spectators.
The rally will be open to huskies, samoyeds and malamuates. Racing will start at about 8.30am and continues until late afternoon.
The event is organised by Ian Elliott and Amy Campbell from Bothel, Cockermouth.
See www.siberianhuskyclub.com for directions and event details.
