Road crash inquest

AN inquest was opened and adjourned on Tuesday into the death of Flimby road crash victim Jacqueline Wilson, of Whitecroft Court, Maryport. Evidence of identification was given to coroner John Taylor by her father, Keith Glencross.
The 36-year-old mother-of-two was travelling on the A596 in a silver Astra which left the road and ploughed into a wall. A second occupant, a 43-year-old man from Salterbeck, sustained serious injuries and was transferred from West Cumberland Hospital to the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle where his condition was stable.
