'UFO' spotted over Whitehaven town centre

A COUPLE claim to have spotted a UFO flying over Whitehaven town centre.
A reader has contacted The Whitehaven News to say that she saw the bright orange object above the town centre at around 10.45pm on Saturday night.
The woman saw the object from her home on Rannerdale Drive.
"It was unlike anything I have ever seen before," she said. "It came from the south and the over Whitehaven town centre. It was low-flying and there was no noise.
"It was a very clear sky and we could see it very clearly. My husband and I both saw it and neither of us could explain what it was."

It wasn,t a flying saucer the people saw; it was the Asda supermarket on its way to Workington.

sounds like chines lanterns, they are silent, and very bright.
