Joyful singing across the centuries
Sing Joyfully – Wigton Choral Society, St Mary’s Church, Wigton: Sing Joyfully is indeed just what the choir did, opening with the anthem of that name by Elizabethan composer William Byrd, its rich, six-part harmonies gave a wonderful start to the evening and very well sung by the choir, under the capable musical direction of their Musical Director Ian Wright.
