Last updated 10:03, Thursday, 08 May 2008
The Whitehaven News has teamed up with the VisitScotland Café Days website to bring you a great competition!
By entering online you could win a fabulous break for two including two nights’ bed and breakfast, and dinner at the Orangery restaurant where you will be made to feel as welcome as the ‘Laird’- but it doesn’t stop there!
As part of VisitScotland’s ‘Café Days’ campaign to promote Scottish cafés and great days out around them, you’ll also get the chance to explore the capital city of Edinburgh.
Your trip will include a visit to the renowned Rosslyn Chapel, a ghostly tour of Mary King’s Close and entry into Edinburgh Castle not to mention a chance to go wild at Edinburgh Zoo, all courtesy of VisitScotland. Quite an itinerary!
After all that you’ll probably need a break and where better than one of Scotland’s most famous cafés, Centotre situated on the city’s grand George Street. Take in the atmosphere and enjoy a complimentary lunch for two and a taste of the café’s family-owned recipes.
Scotland is full of great cafés like Centotre, all nominated by visitors like yourselves. To find out about more great cafés throughout Scotland and what there is to see and do around them, visit the Café Days website.
